User submitted audio recordings and map of locations from the You Are Hear project
I am trying to gather a lot of information on sound and how people interact with and feel about it, I'd very much like to hear what you hear and what you like to hear so I have put together a map where everyone can participate and add their own sounds.
If you would like to participate in this map then please upload your clips and locations to the map itself here, just add your name ( or don't if you don't want to) and your gps co ordinates.
Just go to the Additions tab on the top left of the page, select Add marker, detailed and you're all set, upload sound clips as MP3 only.
I am very interested to see what sort of sounds people add, no limit, put down whatever you like and as long as you like, I tend to keep mine to 2 mins at most but if you have something really interesting then go for it.
please have a look at the mobile app I made as well and you can check in with the progress of the map.
